AI Business Translator for SMEs and social service organisations in Singapore
Your team already uses AI. Now make it work for the business or cause.
I find where AI fits your workflows, then lead the change with the story your staff, board and customers need to hear. Twenty years in broadcasting taught me how to make change land with people.

The tools arrived. The change did not.
Your staff draft emails and summarise meetings with Copilot inside Microsoft 365. Yet the workflows, the roles and the monthly report look the same as last year. AI sits on top of the work instead of inside it.
BCG’s advice to leaders is to put 10% of AI effort into algorithms, 20% into technology and data, and 70% into people and processes. The tools are the 30%. My work is the 70%.

The role
What is an AI Business Translator?
An AI Business Translator helps leaders turn AI from a technical possibility into a business decision their people understand and act on.
I sit between your leadership, your team and the technology. I start with the business question, find where AI fits your workflows, and lead the change management, using the story your people need to hear before they change how they work.
Win Hearts, Plant Ideas, Inspire Actions
01
Win Hearts
I listen first to what your staff, board and customers fear and hope about AI.
02
Plant Ideas
We find the business question and the AI use cases worth pursuing.
03
Inspire Actions
We redesign the workflows and bring the story that gets them adopted.
I work by Occam’s razor: the simplest solution that solves the problem wins, and sometimes that isn’t AI.
Built for two kinds of organisations
SMEs
You have the tools. The next step is fitting them into the way work gets done, with a team that wants to use them.
Social service organisations
Use AI to give your staff more time with the people you serve, and protect the relationship that is your mission.
Three ways to work together
AI Opportunity Diagnostic
A fixed-scope search for the AI opportunities in your workflows, with a clear read of where your people stand. You leave with an opportunity roadmap and a one-page Opportunity Play for each priority.
Change Narrative Project
Narrative-led change management for your AI rollout, written for staff, board, funders and customers.
Fractional AI Business Analyst
I join your leadership team on a fractional basis and lead the change from inside, working to agreed outcomes.

Twenty years of making complex ideas land
Before Content Play, I spent over 20 years in broadcast content and marketing at Mediacorp, Singapore’s national broadcaster. My last role there was Assistant Lead, English Content, heading the okto channel. I was Commissioning Editor for a Best Pre-school Programme winner at the Asian Television Awards, and developed creative concepts that won Gold at the Promax/BDA World awards.
Today my research looks at how leaders of Singapore social service agencies make sense of generative AI as it enters relationship-based work such as casework and counselling.

The Question Before the Tool
Five things to decide before your organisation adopts AI:
- What business problem are we solving, in one sentence?
- Which workflow will change, and who owns it?
- What will our people gain, and what are they afraid of losing?
- What story will we tell our staff, board and customers about why?
- How will we know it worked in 90 days?
The free guide walks through each question with worked examples for SMEs and social service organisations.
Which workflow would you change first, if your team was ready?
If you already have an answer, let’s talk.
