Fractional AI Business Analyst
A fractional AI business analyst is a senior specialist who joins your organisation on a fractional basis to lead AI change. The role finds where AI should be used, briefs your vendors or IT team, and leads the change management until agreed outcomes are met, without the commitment of a full-time hire.

AI change needs an owner. Your managers already have full-time jobs, and a vendor naturally sees the answer through its own product. So AI stays everybody’s side project, and nobody’s priority.
A fractional AI business analyst gives you that owner. I become part of your organisation, sit in the leadership conversations, and carry the change from the first question to the new way of working.
What I do inside your team
- Translate from business to AI: find the opportunities worth pursuing, and turn them into clear briefs for vendors or your IT team.
- Translate from AI to business: explain what the tools can and cannot do, in plain terms your leadership can decide on.
- Lead the change management: shape the change narrative, build the Story World around it, and brief the managers who carry it.
- Keep leadership in the loop: report progress against the outcomes we agreed.
How it works
- Agree the outcomes. We start by defining what success looks like, for example a redesigned workflow your team has adopted, or an AI plan your board has approved.
- Join the team. I work inside your organisation, in person and online, alongside the people who run the work.
- Deliver and review. We review progress against the outcomes regularly, and adjust as we learn.
- Hand over. I build the capability in your team so the change continues after I step back. The aim is a stronger organisation, not a long dependence on me.

Does this replace our IT team or vendor?
No. I work alongside them. They build and run the systems; I make sure the systems solve the right problem and that your people use them.
